It seemed like a few riders weren’t having as good of days as they had yesterday in qualifying. Seth Klinger, Brandon Dosch, Diogo Canina, Garrett Reynolds, and Ryan Nyquist all crashed in their first runs. However, things got interesting after Anthony Napolitan came out with the same run that he did yesterday including a truck driver to tailwhip and a 360 triple tailwhip. Then Rob Darden blasted around the course with smooth lines and huge tricks like a 720 transfer and another 720 over the box.

But when Mike Spinner was set to ride, everyone knew that the place was about to go off. Spinner pulled his dream run with no slipped pedals or bobbles. He started out with a 360 table, followed by a 540 whip. Then he hit the box jump section and did a perfect quadruple tailwhip, a 1080, then a triple whip on the quarter. Spinner was psyched as he got bumped up to first place—but that was before Daniel Dhers took to the course.

Daniel came out like he always does with trick after trick with machine-like precision. He didn’t leave a blank wall during his run and unleashed a new variation of his corked out 720 with a can-can thrown in. The rest of his run included all his usual tricks like a 720 no-hander, tailwhips, flairs, and barspins. His back to back style with nothing but bangers clinched the lead, and in the second round of runs no one was able to top him. So for his second run Daniel put on a box jump demo and did about five 720 variations for the crowd including a nipple twister barspin.
